About the Owners

Jennifer and Brian, along with their son Trevor and Brian’s parents, Paul and Linda, have always cherished family trips to New Hampshire’s Sunapee area. From fall leaf-peeping and scenic hikes to winter ski adventures at Mt. Sunapee, the region has been the backdrop for countless family memories. Their dream of owning a retreat here became reality with Lady of the Lake—a cozy getaway on Chalk Pond designed for togetherness. Whether it’s barbecues on the deck, evenings by the fire pit, or simply relaxing by the water, the lodge brings generations together to celebrate family, nature, and lasting traditions.

"I absolutely loved this place. It was beautiful and so peaceful. There are a lot of stairs, but the location on the water is perfect. The house was very clean and well stocked - exactly like the description said online. Brian was extremely responsive when I had to contact him and proactive in contacting me when I first booked the house. I hope to come back again sometime."

"This is a lovely house on a quiet lake. We really appreciated that there are no motorboats on the lake, which meant we had peaceful mornings, days, and evenings even on July 4 weekend. The beach area is comfortable with easy walk-in access to the water (great for kids and dogs!). Lots of water toys (kayaks, paddleboard, etc) so we could play to our hearts content. We loved the grill and the firepit. The owner was a proactive and responsive communicator. The only slight negative was that there is little soundproofing between the rooms/floors. Luckily there are bedrooms on all 3 floors so you can separate your snorers or early risers from folks who want to sleep in. Aside from that, all around fantastic."

"What an absolutely beautiful spot for me and my family to spend a few days. Brain was an excellent host and communicated before and throughout our stay. We floated on the lake every single day using the provided kayaks, paddle board and peddle boat. The house itself is comfortable and cozy at the same time- we especially appreciated the AC during this heat wave."

"We very much enjoyed our time at the Lady of the Lake. The house is spacious and very nicely renovated. The view is beautiful and the there are plenty of ways to enjoy the pond. It is very quiet and the house is well appointed. The kitchen had what we needed to cook, and there are plenty of dining options reasonably nearby. The area is very scenic and quaint. The beds were comfortable and the there were many nice touches, like having pump style shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers, and a couple of working record players with plenty of albums to choose from. We hope to come back in the fall when it’s sure to be even more scenic."
